11:3 Project 4.0

Hello my friends! Sorry for the recent lack of updates – things have been quite busy, but I’ve finally gotten the chance to collect my thoughts and share them with you!

Last week our Bible reading had us in Matthew 26. This chapter chronicles the final hours before Jesus was arrested and taken to be crucified. The 11:3 Project – Weeks 1 & 2

Hey friends! I’m proud to present you with the official title of our 90-day study on Jesus in the Gospels, as well as my first reflection post! I apologize for the delay in getting this series rolled out – I just got a part time job on top of being full-time at IHOPKC, so I got behind on some things including blogging. I’m hoping that won’t happen again, but I can’t make any promises since life is a little crazy right now!

90 Days with Jesus

It’s been a minute since I wrote a blog post, but I’m excited to announce that will be changing starting now! For the next 90 days, the NightWatch at IHOPKC is embarking on a journey of meditating on the words and person of Jesus together as a community leading up to the elections in November. We’ll be reading through and meditating on the Gospels, and we’ll also be reading and utilizing the study guide for John Piper’s book What Jesus Demands from the World while having corporate times of discussion every week to share testimonies of how God has moved in our hearts and/or wrestle with questions and things that don’t seem to make sense and that cause offense and frustration to arise in our hearts. It’s gonna be raw and messy, and it’s going to be beautiful.
